Soya Chana Dal Kababs
Soya chana dal kebabs is a delicious and healthy preparation of soya beans and chana dal.
Method
- Mix soya and chana dal paste,chopped onion,garlic,coriander,green chillies,amchur ,seasonings cook on low heat till water evaporates from it.
- Add mashed tofu and 3-4 chopped methi leaves.
- Mix properly and make balls .shape them into kababs.
- Roast them on nonsticky tawa till light brown.
- Serve hot serve with tamrind chutney
Broccoli, Tofu and Peanuts
An amazing display of healthful ingredients in a tasty stir fry recipe, Broccoli, tofu and peanuts are simply a great choice and typically enjoyed with breads or rice. The blanched broccoli is cooked with tofu, peanut, raisins and then combined with tahini and peanut butter.
Method
- Heat oil in a large skillet and brown tofu over medium high heat. stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. stir in steamed broccoli, peanuts and raisins. cover and cook for 2 minutes. in a bowl stir together tahini and peanut butter. stir in hot water and soy sauce and combine well. pour sauce over broccoli and tofu mixture and toss to combine.
Chinese Tofu Curry
Healthful and delicious soy recipe, Chinese tofu curry is prepared from curdled soya milk or soya paneer( tofu). The tofu is stir fried with onions, tomatoes, Chinese sauces and spices to prepare an amazing culinary surprise, Chinese tofu curry.
Method
- Cut tofu into small cubes and keep aside.
- Heat oil and fry onion and green chilli
- Add cut green pepper and stir fry for 2 minutes on high flame.
- Then add soya sauce, vinegar, dry smashed chillies and salt.
- Add 1 cup water (or as desired) and let boil.
- Now add tofu to it and boil.
- Mix cornflour in little water to make a paste and add to boiling mixture. this makes gravy thick.
- Delicious tofu curry is ready. serve it with noodles or rice.
Green Tofu Soup
Green tofu soup is an Oriental soup recipe with the tofu cubes coked with ginger, garlic and green chillies. The delectable hot soup recipe is best suited for winters and is sure to warm you up and also provide you with vital nutrients.
Method
- Cut tofu into medium size cubes.
- Heat oil in a pan & season cumin seeds. add chopped onion, garlic and ginger, saute for a while.
- When onion becomes transparent add spinach, chilly and pinto beans to it and saute for a while. let it cool for a while.
- Grind them till coarse paste. pour the paste into the pan and add water to it.
- Now add the tofu pieces and allow it to cook.
- When the soup starts thicken,remove it from the heat.
- Serve hot.
